Shahrukh Khan was gearing up for the release of his latest film from the stables of Yash Raj Films, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring new comer Anushka Sharma opposite the King Khan.
Shahrukh Khan has a lot at stake with this film and so does Aditya Chopra who has wielded the directorial baton after almost 8 years. The Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan has not had the best of the year 2008 as far as commercial success has gone what with his TV game show, ‘Kya aap Paanchvi Pass se Tez Ho’ bombing badly and also his IPL cricket team not making it to the finals.
Yash Raj Films have a point to prove too what with most of their films not being able to create a flutter at the Box Office. It’s time, I guess for both Shahrukh Khan and Aditya Chopra to bail each other out with this seemingly sweet romantic comedy, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Hope 2008 ends on a positive note for Bollywood and for Shahrukh Khan and for Aditya Chopra and for Yash Raj Films and for everyone else too.
