I have mixed feelings about Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye. Firstly, Abhay Deol has really evolved as an actor. He was probably the one why one could survive this film till the end. The film as such doesn’t have a storyline. It is more of a character study of a petty thief who steals petty items from homes in Delhi. Although it seems a little far fetched that he does it with an amazing impunity for the law. Also there was no movement in the story(?) at all yet there were no scenes which were unnecessary or boring. Also it was not an entirely unentertaining film too. Now you see why I have mixed feelings about it? Anyway, I think I can raise the rating to another half a point at most to make it 2 and a half purely for Abhay Deol.
