Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is the daughter of the renowned World Badminton Champion, Prakash Padukone.

Born on the 5th of January 1986 in Bangalore, Karnataka, Deepika did her schooling in Bangalore. She is currently completing her graduation. For that she takes out time everyday after her hectic schedules of shooting to study. So it’s ‘no parties, no late nights’ for Deepika right now.

Incidentally, Deepika started off her acting career by starring in the music video for Himesh Reshammiya in a song from Aap Ka Suroor. Her first full length feature film debut was a Kannada film, Aishwarya, which was directed by Indrajit Lankesh. Her co-star in the movie was Upendra.

Then came Om Shanti Om and the rest, as they say, is history.
